Grabber Goons?
Now I know that healer Kohans almost always go on Goons. I understand the theory and have witnesses the effectiveness in combat. However, what about Goons with Y'ss Tok (sp?) or another freezing type Kohan? Goons have high AV and good speed but a number of times I have had a lone Kohan or a stray foot route into the night and it's a bugger to catch them. It's especially scary when they route in the direction of incoming enemy troops and you can't catch them in time to kill them off. Wouldn't it be decent to have Y'ss snare them and then the Goons move in with the high AV and kill 'em off quick?

The problems with yss on goons is fourfold:
1) Although she casts snare, the spell does not trap units for long, usually not enough for the goon to kill the kohan. Many more times than not, yss goons will not kill a routing kohan. 2) Once a units does get away, the only way to get yss back into action is to press the goon, reducing AV, making it even tougher to kill the kohan 3) Yss is very easily flanked, and dies quick, and is harder to keep alive on engage than other kohan 4)Yss goons do not level as quickly as healer goons, which stay in the fight longer. These apply with some modification to amber: 1) Amber's spell lasts longer, but it is hard to micro the goon unit so that she will freeze a kohan 2)Same as above...chasing down kohan takes away AV 3) better than yss on engage, but also easily killed 4)same as above In general, it is a lot more effective to put yss or amber on short scout, so that they can be easily micro'ed into the right position, and use another kohan on the goons.
