It probably won't make a difference, but try patching to 1.3.7, and see if that fixes your problem.

You definitely need 1.3.7 to run on WinXP and newer operating systems.

However it is running for you, the problem is graphics. All I can suggest is making sure you have the latest DirectX drivers from Microsoft and latest graphic drivers from AMD/ATI.

Many games do not require you to have the most up-to-date video drivers, though they simply recommend that you do. If you have not updated your graphics drivers and are assuming that since you can play MW2 that they should be "good enough" for KAG, you may be mistaken.

Please try installing the latest drivers for your video card and see if that resolves your issue.

I just did the upgrade to Windows 7 and KAG appears to work fine.

Ditto with Win 7 64bit.

I'm not sure if anyone is still interested in this, but I saw this thread after having recently bought Kohan and I thought I'd give a quick heads-up, since it happened to me too.

Far as I can tell, it's a Crossfire problem. Meaning: 2 or more ATI cards hooked up. Bad news is: it may involve some downloading. Good news is: It's quite easy to fix.

To avoid downloading anything:

Run it in a window. It's that simple. Running a program in windowed mode deactivates Crossfire and *should* stop the flickering.

To (temporarily) fix the problem:

1) Get both the ATI Catalyst Control Center and the Profiles. They are both on the same download page as the official drivers. Catalyst Profiles go by the 'CAP' designation. You only need the LASTEST profiles in order to have ALL of the ones created up to that point.

2) Install both the ATI CCC and the Profiles.

3) Try running Kohan again. If the flickering persists... Are you ready for this?

4) Rename the executable (which should be Kohan.exe) to... 'ForceSingleGPU.exe' (minus the quotes). That's it. It should work perfectly now.

Anyway, hope that helps!
