Kohan: Immortal sovereigns
Assistance Required!
I Installed K.I.S. Yesterday and had no problem playing the game, this morning, However, I booted up the game, and all went normal, I went to custom scenario, and was about to have some Void Beast fun when my Kohan X'd out and an error message popped up! "KOHAN.EXE. HAS STOPPED WORKING, Will Advise If Solution is found" Well I Get No Solutions! None! I've Uninstalled And Re-installed It Twice. And I Can't Find A Fix On The Support Site. Just in Case It Matters. My Specs Are: OS: WINDOWS 7 Home Premium LAPTOP: ASUS (K53E) PROCESSOR: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-2450M CPU @ 2.50GHz (4 CPUs) DirectX Version: DirectX 11 Card name: Intel(R) HD Graphics Family Again, Worked Fine Yesterday. Heard that if you try running it as an administator, you might have a chance

In addition to running as administrator, you can try running in compatibility mode, disabling visual themes, and/or disabling desktop composition (right click KIS shortcut -> Compatibility tab). Sometimes those "stopped working" errors can be fixed by turning off Data Execution Prevention for the program:
1. Click Start button 2. Right click Computer and choose Properties 3. Select Advanced -> Performance -> Settings 4. Data Execution Prevention - if Turn on DEP for all programs and services is checked, then click "Add..." and browse to the kohan exe file to add it to the list. Also, which version of KIS are you running? Some patches can be found here.
