xtc0r, please send a log and dump file of the crash to support@timegate.com. These files are generated in your /logs directory where you installed Kohan II.

I get the exact same error msg and I get it after 5 minutes of playing all the time. Really annoying when you've just begun to get yourself an army and then it dies =p

xtc0r,
We're looking into it. Can you give us a full list of your system specifications? |

ok, I fixed the problem. I deinstalled my catalyst driver using driver cleaner and installed the new Omega drivers. Now it works fine for me.

Well tell us where to find them and do they work for the GeForce 4 Nvidia drivers?

you can find them there: Omega driver . In the ATI Omega drivers driver cleaner is included. Not sure if it is also in the Nvidia driver. If not you can download it here.
Omega drivers are special catalyst drivers, optimized for gaming. They are realy fast. The new version is based on the catalyst 4.9 driver. I don't know which version it is for the nvidia users, I didn't looked for that, but easy to find on the page. Hope I could help you guys. If this don't work, try to set the refresh rate to not more than 75 hz for the resolution the game uses. I think it's 1024 32 bit or 1152 32 bit. Because I also got a crash bug starting Star Wars battlefront, then I installed the new drivers and it worked. But after setting the refresh rates it crashed again. So I decided to set it back to 75 hz and it worked again. The 75 hz crash fix is perhaps!!!! just another solution. Try the omega drivers first. |
